It All Begins Here

Hello!

I’m Priya and I’ve been practicing Yoga for over 10 years. But really, it was part of me long before then. I grew up between London and India, embedding in me a deep respect for culture and tradition, and a desire to adapt it for a modern lifestyle.

I often hear people say that they started practicing Yoga due to back pain/shoulder pain etc - and I used to say the same. That was until I realised that despite growing up with the practice, it never really ‘clicked’ for me until I was going thorugh a personal crisis. Suffering with grief for months, Yoga was the first thing that made me smile, and relax.

I decided to train as a Yoga teacher in Rishikesh India - back at The Source. There, I realised that Yoga isn’t just for becoming more flexible: it’s a tool to help regulate the nervous system. It helps me more than anything (apart from Reiki) to manage my ADHD syptoms. More than that, it actually works!

2 years later, I went back for more. Yoga has helped me so much personally. I love delving into the history, culture and reasoning behind why we perform certain postures. I’m perpetually curious, and I enjoyed sitting at the front of each class, taking in the wisdom of Yogis and Gurus.

My style of teaching is inclusive, empathetic and traditional. Come to my class if you are someone keen to understand the WHY we do the poses in which sequence and how your practice is part of an ancient lineage.

In loving kindness,

Priya
